Antique Marble Book And Cover With Gold Gilt Stamped Typography The Stamped Envelopes, Wrappers And Sheets Of The United States
Super rare and amazing reference book featuring stamped envelopes, wrappers, letter sheets, and postal cards of the U.S, Philippines, “Porto Rico” & Cuba. The gilt stamped pebbled book cover is from the first edition which was published in 1892 by the Scott Stamp & Coin Co in NYC. It features the most beautiful typography and would look great framed or leaning face out on a book shelf. The marblized book and its contents are a 3rd edition book published in 1904 by J.M. Bartels Co of Boston, MA. It is hand numbered 139, and signed by each the publisher and editor. The exterior of the book is in overall poor condition with the front cover being fully separated and the back hanging on by a few threads. The spine is in antique condition with wear at the top and bottom. The gold gilt stamped lettering on the spine is still ledigible but shows some wear. It reads “BARTELS CATALOGUE 1904 UNITED STATES STAMPED ENVELOPES”. The pages of the book are in nice condition showing minimal wear for its age. Two really great pieces of colloctor history, a very rare find and a great reference catalog book that can still be used to this day.

Shop policy for lost/ stollen packages and items damaged in transit?
I package all of my orders securely and mark packages fragile, I also provide tracking info and insurance coverage for all of my orders. If your package is lost or stolen, I can file an insurance claim, start a lost package investigation and submit a missing mail search request. If your item arrives damaged, please save all packaging materials and the shipping box, take several photos of the box and packaging from all angles. I will use these photos to file an insurance claim. Once a claim is approved, and money is reimbursed to me, I will immediately refund the cost of the item via your Etsy order. Claim reviews and payment reimbursement can take 5 to 15 business days once all documentation and verification forms are completed (possibly longer in some cases). I do not issue refunds prior to the completion of a claim.

Where can I shop in person?
I don't have my own brick & mortar, but I often do pop-ups and sell in person at local markets from time to time. The best way to keep up with where i'll be selling is to follow me on instagram @farewelltrading. Any pop-ups and in-person markets will be announced there.
Do you reserve items for your customers?
Very rarely. It depends on the item and is done at my discretion. A non-refundable down payment is required if I do agree to reserve an item.
How long will it take to receive my item?
My general processing time is 1-8 business days. Please refer to estimated shipping and delivery times within each individual listing. Smaller items tend to be processed and shipped out quicker than larger items. I try to ship items out as quickly as possible, please contact me if you need an item by a certain date and I will work with you to get it there. If your order is shipping within the US then you will typically receive your item/s within 3 to 15 business days. International customers will receive their item/s within 7 to 30 business days depending on your location. These times are estimates and can take longer due to weather and events that are out of my control.
Do you offer discounts or accept offers on your items.
No, I do not. The price is already set at my best price. The only time discounts are offered is when I am running an actual sale, then the discount price will be shown within each individual listing. I do not offer additional discounts on sale items.
Do you offer ring re-sizing? or Can you tell me if a ring can be re-sized?
I'm currently not offering ring re-sizing services. I won't be able to tell you if a ring can be sized or not as i am not a jeweler. Each jeweler's skill level is different, and the sizing capability for a ring will depend on the jeweler doing the re-sizing. The best way to determine if a ring can be sized or not is to show a picture of the ring to the jeweler that you plan to have do the sizing.
Do you offer layaway?
I'm currently not offering layaway on any of my items via Etsy. Please contact me through instagram or my website if you would like to set up a layaway plan. Etsy also offers Klarna as a checkout option, which is very similar to layaway.
do you accept returns or cancellations?
I absolutely do not accept returns or do order cancellations. Please examine all provided listing photos and read the entire item description and listing details before placing an order. All of my items are vintage or antique, and typically show age/ wear. Any imperfections are always noted and shown within the item descriptions and listings photos. I take the time to write detailed listing descriptions as well as provide the maximum amount of product photos, so please take the time to carefully read and examine them before ordering.
